In essence, virtual reality represents a complete immersion in the game/movie/app. Typically, the mode is FP (First Person), where you control the character. With combining two lenses which close up the video to your eyes, you get a 3D effect and feel like you are inside the Virtual Reality world. The Virtual Reality products typically include a small screen (5-6 inches), which with the close up looks like a giant, 360 degrees monitor.
There are multiple benefits of virtual reality. It helps you get involved in the virtual world and navigate it. It helps you see the entire picture, not just a portion of it, as you usually do on a TV screen. And it helps in gaming, a lot!
